DEADLINE FOR EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR OC'S IS JUNE 2nd!

This key symposium in its field, with traditionally around 300 participants from industry and academia, attracts a highly targeted audience composed of experts in drug discovery and development, in particular medicinal and synthetic chemists, together with scientists active in the fields of computer assisted drug design, biology, DMPK, pharmacology, early toxicology, as well as chemical and pharmaceutical development. The scientific programme, which will feature a plenary session followed by 9 sessions covering the latest advances in medicinal chemistry, is now available on the website:

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

All participants are invited to register and submit abstracts for oral communications and poster presentations. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed for their acceptance by the Organising Committee.

  • Deadline for abstract submission for oral communications (and early bird fees): June 2, 2015
  • Deadline for abstract submission for poster presentations: July 15, 2015

EFMC VIDEOCLIP COMPETITION

Can you explain the importance of Medicinal Chemistry to the general public in just 1 minute? If you’re up to the challenge, you could win up to €500 in the EFMC’s "Why Medicinal Chemistry?" video competition!

Medicinal chemists play a fundamental role in the discovery of novel drugs. By making a short video, you can highlight the importance of Medicinal Chemistry and contribute to increasing the awareness of the general public for our discipline. The closing date is June 30, 2015. The winner and runner-ups will be announced in September 2015 and receive a cash prize and an EFMC Grant for participation in the Frontiers Symposium.
