The EFMC Prize for a Young Medicinal Chemist in Academia” was established by the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC) to acknowledge and recognize an outstanding young medicinal chemist (≤ 10 years after PhD) working in academia within Europe. The Prize is given annually and consists of a diploma, € 1.000 and an invitation for a short presentation at an EFMC symposium. Two nominees will also be identified and acknowledged.

Applications should be done via the application form on this website and should consist of:
• a one-page letter by the candidate including a short rationale for their application.
• one page with his/her 5 most important publications.
• a brief CV of the candidate.
• abstract of potential oral presentation.

Deadline for submission: January 31, 2015

The winner will be invited to give an oral communication at the EFMC International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ASMC 15), November 15-19, 2015, Tel Aviv, Israel.
